Public drinking joints are filled to the brim after working hours and during weekends, when people get together to catch up. Also, reflect on whether you have had sex when drunk and regretted it, regularly drink when stressed and lie to your family and friends about the amount you drink. If these characteristics describe you, then you are evidently an alcoholic.

After the self test for alcohol addiction, you should not panic if you find out you are an alcoholic. In the early stages, this is curable. You should be open to family members and close friends who can provide support. However, your goal should be to quit drinking completely because you remain vulnerable and the problem is likely to recur. As it is said, ‘Old habits die hard!’
